Hey everybody! I’m still here and I’m still alive. I’ll have to do a little write-up sometime about what I’ve been up to in the last year, but for now, I just wanted to check in real quick to let you know about a big contest I’m running at Theme of Absence.
The contest is being sponsored by a donor who wish to remain anonymous and must revolve around some metaphysical or epistemological issue, like the nature of time or knowledge of the external world.
The winning entry will be published on June 1, 2021 with a first place prize of $500.00. Two runners-up will also be selected and published with a prize of $50 each.
Other details: The contest runs from March 1 – March 31. No reprints or multiple submissions will be accepted. The maximum word count is 1000.
If you’ve got something you’d like to submit, check out Theme of Absence for the complete guidelines: Speculative Philosophical Fiction Contest | Theme of Absence
Best of luck and I hope you’re all doing well!
