So first thing, I am still alive. We went on a little cross-country trek with the kids all the way down to the great state of Texas. We had a really nice time, but with all the travel, I just didn’t have the mental energy left to get anything posted this week :0 But never fear, I back in Nebraska and ready to hit the weekend writing. But first, here is another Five Links Friday for ya’ll to read.
1. Let’s start off with a new one by Dave Chesson with a look at The Psychology of Author Marketing.
2. And why not follow-up with a second, awesome post from Jane Friedman’s site? Here are The Key Book Publishing Paths.
3. A lot of us genre writers just don’t get romance. Here is a post by Lorna Faith to help us understand: 3 Reasons I have a Passion to Write Romance.
4. Gosh, I don’t think I shared this one before, but even if I did, it’s still got a ton of great info. Here is a post on character motivation and Overcoming Abuse and Learning To Trust by Angela Ackerman.
5. What better way to close out a less than productive week than with a post by Brian Tracy? Check out SMART Goals: 5 Tips for Motivation? Granted this is more for helping employees set goals, but most of it applies to all areas of life.
And that is all for this week. I’ll be back Monday on a little more active posting schedule, so until then, have a great weekend and get some writing done!
